Receptionist are the directors of first impression and are capable of multi-tasking while successfully
maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction to both external and internal customers. At

Essential Receptionist Functions/Qualifications/Education:
 Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to
an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.
 Greet and direct visitors.
 Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
 Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location,
company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
 Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
 Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
 Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
 Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
 Develops and maintains office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks.
 Operates office machines as required.
 Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
 Duplicates and distributes materials.
 Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.
 Maintains office supply inventory.
 Must have 1+ years of office/administrative experience.
 Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
 Teamwork oriented attitude.
 Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
 Must be proactive and have the ability to work independently.
 Proficient knowledge of basic software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel &
