This position oversees the company’s collections department goals, compliance and production. Manage a staff of collections personnel, provide feedback, coaching, training and implement collections strategies. Responsible for minimizing losses, maintain accountability of accounts receivable and liquidate default accounts. Observe or review employee interactions with customers to ensure all policies and regulations are being adhered to by staff. Monitor collections calls to provide post call training and coaching to improve efficiency, overall production and reduce the percentage of lost opportunities, while maximizing growth.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Collections/Sales background is a plus.
  • Management experienced required.

DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Research, develop and implement collection strategies that reduce the amount of delinquency. Provide oversight and expertise for collectors to be able to maximize their capabilities in their role. Utilize Microsoft excel to analyze reports and data to ensure maximum efficiency and production, while reviewing daily, weekly and monthly numbers. Facilitate department meetings, conduct interviews and execute counseling both positive and negative. Collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure employee well-being and moral is at an extremely high level.
  • Perform contract negotiations, contract renewals and implement sales strategies along with the collections process. Take escalated calls from collectors, communicate with small-medium size business owners on their Search Engine Optimization needs and maintain business to business relationships. Service escalated customer accounts, while providing the highest level of customer service.

DELIVERABLES/ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Hold accountability for production of collections personnel.
  • Manage and deliver weekly and monthly reports to the Director of Operations.
  • Manage the escalation accounts that the collectors are not able to resolve.
  • Keep accountability of employee contingency requirements.
  • Maintain accountability of call volume and talk times.
  • Track collections numbers as well as contract renewals.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, terminate, but not limited to.
  • Other duties based on business needs.
  • Audit collector accounts to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Conduct counseling both positive and negative.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This role requires you to be present at our corporate office in Irvine, CA.
